Atmosphere: ultra modern and "chic". very small inside with lots of modern art. the average patron here appeared to be more of a martini type than craft beer type...at least that is how they appeared. very crowded. it might be difficult to find a seat. loud as well.

Quality/Selection: I was very impressed with the selection. there was a large number of beers that i really wanted to get here. I ended up getting a Stone Green Tea IPA which is very rare on the East coast, so i was excited about that. my girlfriend found a really tasty hefe for herself.

Service: its a busy place, so getting the bartender's attention might get difficult.

Overall, its definitely a place I would want to go to again as long as the crowd was smaller. (738 characters)

Service is very important to me, and our server went above and beyond after I had to switch meals with my girlfriend because her food was too spicy for her. The menu itself did not mention that the meal would be spicy ( I was happy to eat it) and the friendly server took it off our bill even after I protested that it wasn't necessary to do so. The beer list was short but sweet, with offerings from Societe and Alpine to delight this beer geek. The salad I got was very tasty, it was the arugula and watercress salad, I think, and the sausage with MF'n pull pork was excellent! My girlfriend enjoyed *my* grilled cheese sandwich and (was it tomato? I can't remember) bisque. The vibe was very casual and full of flair - the entry door sports Jesus Christ enjoying a hamburger, and the whole place is full of fun visual social commentary. But there was no pretentious or exclusionary vibe at all. I hope to go back soon. (921 characters)

I love these guys because they gave me Alpine Nelson and then Pliny when A N ran out - a superior customer experience in all respects (133 characters)

This is a small bar not far from the ballpark. All the window were opened for loads of fresh air. A funky tile wall of San DIego takes up the whole back space. The rest of the space is made up of metal, dark woods, and concrete and has a warehouse feel. The bar seats about 12.

On this visit there were 28 beers on draft. Loads of local California beers including Stone Vertical 12.12.12., Alpine, Mother Earth, Lagunitas, and Green Flash. The beers I had were very good and fresh.

This is a must stop for any BA in San Diego. (530 characters)
