Enjoyed this 12oz bottle out of a large snifter glass.
A: Pours a dark black with a thin, light brown, 2-finger head that quickly dissipates and leaves a wispy lace.
S: Funky malt raspberry and blueberry aroma.
T: Similar to the smell there is a malty raspberry and blueberry flavor.
M: Medium body and medium carbonation.
O: Great name – not so great beer. I’ll pass next time – but I’ll keep the bottle for amusement.

Garbage. Totally stupid. They added blueberry flavor to this? In this day and age, if you are adding additives to a beer, then it's just stupid. Give me a break already and don't waste my time or money with this crap. Seriously. Learn how to brew with real fruit and make it count. Otherwise, don't insult yourself. Blue ball? Indeed...

Bought a case for 13.99 at local distributor. Thought "how bad can it be, it's worth a try".
Wrong I was. Looks like a porter, even smells like a porter. Tastes like spoiled fruit. Guess the label stating flavored beer should've been a tell-tale sign. Mouthfeel couldn't be assessed due to flavor. Awful. 24 drain pours. Avoid.

12oz. Nearly black, brown pour, just a ring of light tan.
Aroma, blueberry? Light chocolate and toasted malt.
Taste, yep blueberry, was not aware. Dark chocolate, roast malt. It's simple but it's nice enough.
Lighter bodied, not quite to a fault. Enough carb, drinks pretty well. A little thin for a porter and you need to be ready for the blueberry.
Worth trying.

Bottle poured into my Penn State pint glass, because it sounds like JoePa might pass tonight. God Bless him.
I've had good experiences with Intercourses at beer festivals in the past. This is the first time I ever bought a full sixer of something from them to take home with me.
A: Pours pitch black with a thin light brown head that dissipated quickly.
S: Strong Java presence, perhaps a hint of cocoa, and that classic roasty dark malt smell underneath.
T: Strong toffee flavors come through on the taste that weren't discernible in the nose. The Java is also there, though. A touch of hop bitterness and pine on the back end round things out. All this adds up to a Porter that has a good bit going on inside the glass, some of which I like.
But there's something in here that I find a bit off-putting. I can't tell if it's the toffee, the coffee, or something else, but there's something in here that I find just a tad *harsh*. It's not "bad", but there's something here that I find that isn't all that "good", either.
M: Rather unremarkable. Not as hefty as I'd like it to be. Carbonation is a touch low, as well. That might be attributed to age, but I can't find a date on the bottle, which to me means that age/freshness isn't an excuse.
There's plenty of flavors left behind on the finish, however, which help it's mouthfeel retain an acceptable rating.
D/O: I didn't pick up on it in the first 3 ounces or so, but there is a malt-sweetness underneath this beer that grows-and-grows as you work through the glass. It's unbalanced, unwanted, and detracting. As I neared the end of the glass, it became obvious to me that I really didn't want any more of this beer. Overall, not all that enjoyable.

Pours jet black with a brown head. In the aroma, a sweet roast and a small pine hop presence. In the taste, a sweet roasted malt, caramel, and a nice pine hop, especially in the end. A small hop bite and a medium bodied mouthfeel, with a small dry caramel and chocolate like aftertaste. Bigger hop than expected and a nice flavor. I was not expecting much out of this, pretty much bought it for the name, but I really enjoyed it.
