Naked Lap lager has a dull, golden-colored body with a lot of carbonation bubbles moving around. The bright white head is soapy with OK retention. It leaves a few spots of lacing behind.

Lots of pale malt in the aroma, with grain and sweetness coming through.

Naked Lap is pretty sweet, with almost no hop presence to speak of. Grain and cereal come through first, but a malt sweetness soon overwhelms them. The finish has a hint of fruit in it from the yeast. The sweet flavors definitely dominate this one, but it isn't bad at all. Naked Lap's flavor profile is definitely aimed at converting drinkers who are used to adjunct lagers.

Actually medium bodied, with very creamy carbonation.

Naked Lap is a solid lager; everything that I have tried from CBC has been well-done, and this beer is no exception. Personally, I would like the beer to be less sweet and a little drier. Maybe some more hops would help too. Still, this is a solid beer.

Light, crisp, with lots of cracker and a hint of coriander or other light spice. Sunshine!

The beer pours a pale gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a crisp, pilsner malt scent along with a slightly fruity, yet dry lager yeast aroma. The taste is decent as well. It has the standard pilsner malt flavor that's easy drinking and clean in the finish. It's not as hoppy as a German pils, so it's more attractive to a larger audience. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a good drinking beer. It's tasty, yet simple enough for the non beer nerd.

Poured from a CBC growler into a standard pint glass filled at the brewery.

A: Beautiful golden yellow in color. Poured from growler didn't lend to very much head. Lacing also disappeared quickly.

S: Not at all overpowering, not much to the smell, but for a lager, it wasn't offensive.

T: Nicely balanced lager without much of an aftertaste at all which is a concern for me with lagers.

M: Light bodied, nicely carbonated.

D: This beer was a nice beer to drink on a warm afternoon when I wasn't looking to get totally schnockered by a beer with a 7% abv. To have this with lunch was a really nice treat. Will get better as the weather gets warmer.

Since I'm the first reviewer, here is the description from the website:

A traditional American Lager - Like swimming naked on a hot August night, this beer refreshes - without being weighted down by calories or hop bitterness. Serve ice cold and enjoy...

I love local. Always have, always will. Here's to CBC review #3... Naked lap lager

A- a golden macro yellow with a head that leaves no evidence wxcept some lacing. HOWEVER! This looks inviting on this 55 degree april 8th night in cuse

S- faint, faint, faint fruit scent with that adjunct scent. Makes me nervous, but I will hang in there. At any rate there is some lemony crispness

T- a good crisp malt taste with some flavor that arises from the crisp style. I have respect for what theme CBC is trying to accomplish. The flavor is present

M- crisp but flavor still enrobes the mouth. I like it

D- pound this in the heat. CBC tells it like it is a is delivering a crisp local lager that quenches your thirst. Sh*t'$ gatorade after a suicide run! I'll rock this all summer!
