Had on tap at the brewery.
A: Pours brown with a dime of off white head.
S: Big malt aroma followed by bourbon.
T: Sweet roasted malt followed by bourbon and just a hint of alcohol heat. Finish is sweet and oaky.
M: The barrel thinned this out somewhat and the carbonation is lacking a little.
O: A decent BBA beer for warmer months when your wanting something less heavy.

Tap at Brewpub. Dark brown/mohoghany ;pour, off white head recedes to ring.
Aroma, malty caramel, vanilla lightest oak.
Taste is a bit on the sweet side. A lot of caramel and vanilla. Hint of toast and smoke sneaks in at the end. This improves as it warms.
Lightest alcohol warming, but nothing in the taste. A nice creamy carbonation but it's just a tad thin. Still a good brew, really like the way barrel works with Scotch ales.
