Poured into a Guineness pint.
high carbonation activity at first, result is a big fat moka head wich stick some laces.
the color is orange/brown, it looks cloudy with particules floating around.
smell; malty/caramel, a bit weak
taste:malty and caramel. theres something earthy
we can almost taste the soil of Lac-St-Jean..
taste is kind of mild with a light hop final
mf: quite round, smooth. moderate carb,
drinkability: moderate. it is a natural product made from the family farm. with little imperfections. but good intentions.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy deep amber color ale with a average size creamy foamy head with good retention and not much lacing. Aroma of caramel malt with some light unrefined grain notes as well. Taste of medium sweet caramel malt with dry unrefined malt finish. Body is full with limited filtration and average carbonation. OK though not the most spectacular offering from this brewery.

Tasted this one on January 13th, 2009.
From my tasting notes:
Appearance: Amber/Hazy.
Smell: Inviting and of average intensity. Good malty smell with light fruity smell.
Taste: Malts, Malts. Pretty good with a bitterness that is not overwhelming. Just balanced enough. Good!
Mouthfeel: Thin with an average body.
Drinkability: Refreshing beer that I coud certainly drink more than one, however a little pricy!
Conclusion: Not a bad beer. I liked it and would drink more. However, for now the price is a little high. Nevertheless, could buy this one from time to time. Not an every week beer due to the price.
