Body is a hazy orange that looks fantastic; head is a little thin but I rate this highly anyway just for the color.

On first whiff I get strong floral notes and honey, quickly moves into hoppy citrus, mostly orange but also some peach and maybe grapefruit. Has a mild bready malt character too. Smells great but not aggressively hoppy.

Flavor opens with sweet citrus, oranges but not particularly bitter, fades into sweet flowers and some maltiness, I think I even get some banana in this. Not super hoppy, not overly malty either, this is a well balanced pale ale. I like this a lot actually.

Mouthfeel is nice, creamy and very good carbonation, between that and the really balanced flavor drinkability is great.

This is a very nice and well balanced pale ale with quite a lot going on in the flavor for such a light beer. Great session beer.

Poured on-tap into reidel beer glass.
A: Pours a clear golden yellow with 1/2 inch white head. Good retention and lacing.
S: Fresh pine and citrus hops...pleasantly strong but not overpowering.
T: Follows aroma...which is a good thing. Fresh and strong pine, citrus, and floral hops. Reminiscent of a toned-down Furious.
M: Light body. Smooth and slightly oily feel. Moderate hop bite with a mildly dry finish.
D: Highly drinkable and sessionable brew. Refreshing and not overly hopped. A solid offering.

Nice fresh fruits on the nose with mango and tangerine being fairly prominent. Bread on the finish with some lingering sweetness.

Beautiful orange clear color on this one with a slightly off-white head. Some lacing, but nothing too significant, and lots of carbonation seen swimming to the surface of this liquid gold glass of deliciousness.

Interesting how the taste contrasts the aromas. I get lemon, light unripened juice oranges, slight slight papaya. Its just a tad astringent with loads of carbonation and a light body. Its a tad alarming only because its so different than what the aroma leads it out to be.

On tap at Bootlegger’s Brewery in Fullerton, CA.

Pours a slightly murky honey orange with an orange-beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, and some herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with a mild bitterness on the palate after each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but it smells better than it tastes in my opinion.

App- A little darker than Apple juice. Poured with only a 1/2 finger of white head. Solid cling on this one. Good drink lines as it slid down the glass.

Smell- A little bit of caramel sweet with the malts coming out more. Also had a damp citrus orangey/tangarine

Taste- A bit of a small malty caramel. Only a slight citrus. As warms, a bit more earthy in flavor with a touch of bitter on the finish.

Mouth- A light medium body. A tad on the thin side but thats okay. A fuller medium carbonation. Residual malts and a touch of bitter.

Drink- A pretty good pale ale. One of the first beers I had from Bootleggers along time ago, just never reviewed it. Would have this one again.
