Pours black, with a thick mocha tan head that quickly dissipates.
Smells like expresso and malt, a touch of chili as it warms.
Tasted like warm roasted malts and coffee. It has a slight chili aftertaste, more as it warms.
Feels smooth upfront, with a bit of astringency and carbonation on the sides of my tongue in the middle. I even got a little chili tickle in my throat at the end.
Overall, I like this beer. I like heat, so I wish it had more, but I understand that's unreasonable. The coffee is a major player, and for a stout(not my usual fare) it's really good. I little too much carbonation, but I don't mind. If I compare this to Guinness, it's leagues above, as Guinness has almost no flavor. This beer is as advertised, coffee with a hint of chili.

Serving Type: 22 ounce bomber poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: Looks great, black, nice tan head with lots of tiny bubbles, head dissipates pretty quickly, nice carbonation.
Smell: A lot of roast from the coffee, smoky aromas from the chipotle, I'm getting more of smoky aroma than anything else.
Taste: Smoky flavor up front, getting the coffee in the middle with some bitterness, spicy chipotle aroma on the back end leading into some spice, a mild spice, alcohol is present at 6.7% but not overwhelming.
Mouthfeel: Lost of carbonation, smooth, dry mouthfeel at the end.
Overall: Great beer, as for spiced beers this and Stone Smoked Porter with Chipotle are my two favorites.
