On-tap at Bootlegger's
A: The keg was not fully carbonated yet, but that's okay with me. Sort of like a cask serving, eh? The beer is a hazed golden orange color with minimal carbonation and head.
S: Quite bready. In fact, that's almost all of what I smell. A very green hop aroma, particularly grassy, with a mild to moderate citrus quality. Perhaps just a touch of pine.
T: Like the nose, the bread is really the main component. There's a nice bitterness to the beer, but not a ton of hop flavors. Maybe a bit of grass and citrus peel, with very faint fruits.
M: The body is medium with a low level of carbonation.
D: Would have been nice to try it fully carbonated. Hopefully it's still on-tap next time I'm in and I'll get it again.
