On-tap at Bootlegger's
A: The pour is light amber in color with a medium sized white head.
S: A nice citrus aroma of lemon peel and grapefruit. There's a bit more malt than usual for a Bootlegger's IPA, but it's pretty crisp and leans toward the cracker side of things. A hint of grass and floral notes, too.
T: Lots of grapefruit and lemon, too. A fairly strong bitterness, especially up front. There is a very dry feel to this beer and while there is a decent amount of malt flavor, it's pretty dry as well.
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: A fairly decent IPA, but it definitely doesn't live up to expectations after all the other good hoppy beers.
Serving type: on-tap
