Taste: Toasted rich dark malts, smooth, clean finish. Malty roasted grain nose.
Black/Brown, opaque with a decent tan head with webbed lattice of lace.
Medium, not really full body. Nice porter the way a porter should be. 32 IBUs

Stopped into the brewpub to have a few pints and a few slices of pizza.
The look of this beer is straight up magnificent! Nice deep brown bordering on black with a tan head. The bartender poured this one perfect.
The smell is some coffee, burnt toffee, maybe some chocolate in there too.
Taste is the selling point on this one. Not only does it smell good, but the taste is out of this world. Quite possibly one of the best porters I've had. This is definitely a home run!
I will be returning to the brewpub just for this. Probably going to pick a growler of this brew next visit!

A: Dark brown porter, verging on stout darkness. Very nice head and lacing.
S: Dark aromas, molasses, caramel maltiness, coffee, and roast. Superb aroma
T: The molasses and roastiness shine through. This plays great with the malty backbone. This is an extremely easy drinking and complex porter. Very impressed
M: Smooth and easy drinking. A little more body would be nice but overall very pleasant.
O: One of the best porters I have had! Definitely worth a trip out to Crown Point to get a pint of their porter.

On tap at Tomlinson Tap Room. Poured a deep brown with good head and lacing. Very earthy and roasty aroma, having both bitter and sweet scents. Earthy flavor and overly bitter, some roastiness, but not much. A bit hop rough, odd for a porter, and not as thick, roasty, and creamy as expected for the style.
