So I stopped in for a few pints and some pizza for my birthday dinner with my family. I really enjoyed this place. The Taco Pizza, Irish Nachos, were the standout of the food. Of the beer I had the bourbon barrel milk chocolate stout (served in a snifter $9), their Industrial Porter (pint $5), Winter Warlock (9oz $3), Pumpkin ale (pint $5), Crown Blue (9oz $3), Special Forces IPA (9oz $3), Crown Light (tasted out of a flight), and Crown Brown (also tasted out of a flight). That was pretty much every beer on tap. Of the beer, the only ones I did not care for we're the Crown Blue, and Crown Light. I'd buy all the other again.

The place is small and cozy. Very family friendly. Food was very good and service was excellent. I love this place, highly recommend it, and will be going back!

Cheers! (803 characters)

My hometown brewery where I've spent countless hours at this place. Food is excellent especially the pizza. Beer is amazing too. Highly recommended, a hidden gem! (162 characters)

A cool little bar in an old building that has a small bartop with 6-8 seats and 4-5 tables crammed in the main area. A small-ish TV above the bar that shows whatever they want, typically Chicago sports if on. Around the corner in the bar are big windows that show the brewing equipment and another 5 or 6 tables. Attached to the bar is a pizza joint that is much larger and has much more seating and, suprise suprise, all the beers of the brewery are available. They have some beers that are always available, the Crown brown, blue, cream , etc. and they always have a choice of seasonals, and there are some guest bottles and a few wine choices as well. The food menu is pretty diverse, of course the pizza is available and while I havn't tried it personally it always looks and smells very good, thin crust style. There are sandwiches and wraps, some pasta choices, and a many deep fried "bar food" style options to pick at while hanging out. The place on friday and saturday nights is fun and loud, go on a saturday or sunday afternoon if you want to go in and have a more intimate, quiet experience with other beer lovers. They're very good about giving samples of things before making your decision and there is seemingly always a knowledable patron around to chat with as this place has some die hard followers. (1,325 characters)

Cool taproom in the historic district of Crown Point. They had some history on the walls about the brewery when it first opened in 1895. Their selection of beers was awesome and the service was good. (199 characters)

Over all a nice place to go. Just recently added more taps so there is a nice mix at all times. Beer is spot on good stuff.
The staff is approachable and kindley. I frequent this place often as i live 3 min away. The food could be better but I am pretty sure that they are separate companies and Crown brewing does not have control over the food. The bar is not large but they have a patio that is a decent size in the warm months. Definitely a nice addition to the many breweries in north west indiana. (504 characters)
