Out of a 22 ounce bottle. On to the beer:

An inch of head sits on top this cadmium colored beer. A little cloudy, especially when the entire bottle is emptied into the glass. The aroma smells sour, lemony, and also medicinal, the last character I could do without. It actually does do well mocking the Berliner Weiss style with its sour and tart fruitiness and touches of creamy wheat. What dampens the excitement is the medicinal aspect, which gives the beer a taste of ointment. It's light bodied and paired with well placed carbonation. It's drinkable as it stands, and take out the ointment character this would be a great warm weather refresher.

Poured a cloudy golden body with two fingers of thick, bubbly white head. It looks quite nice, a good Berliner Weisse in appearance. Scents of a modestly sweet malt, grain husks, light fruit with notes of apple and berries and a sour lactic funk. Overall impression of aroma is of a nice Berliner Weisse that is decently sour and nicely balanced with good grain and fruit aromas. Just a touch light overall, but still nice. Flavor begins with high sourness with notes of lactic acid, plain yogurt-like, grainy malt and light, berry-like fruitiness in the background. Middle is highly sour, with the same flavors prevailing. Finish is highly sour still, with the addition of a lemon-like sourness to the overall flavor profile, which remains much the same as before. Aftertaste is grainy malt and sour lactic acid. Overall impression of flavor is of a crisp, sour, refreshing beer, very true to form for the style. Mouthfeel is light bodied and effervescent with high carbonation and a puckering feel. Overall impression of mouthfeel is of a classic Berliner Weisse, refreshing and light. Overall this is a good Berliner Weisse. It has a good, though light aroma and a true to form flavor and mouthfeel that make it a nicely refreshing beer.

22 from Bottleworks in seattle. Hazy deep yellow. Thin white headed disappears quickly. Smell is sour with some general funkiness indicative of sour mash/kettle beers. Taste is tart wheat, lots of citrus with a puckering finish. Not crazy sour but sour enough to be bright and refreshing. Medium bodied, perfect carbination for the style. Very nicely done.

On-tap at Boneyard Bistro, Sherman Oaks, CA

A: The beer is hazy pale light yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down and left some patches of bubbles on the surface, a collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides.
S: Light aromas of sourness are present in the nose.
T: The taste mostly follows the smell, mexcept that the sourness is a little stronger and there are also notes of lactic acid.
M: It feels light-bodied and slightly tart on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The beer has some refreshing properties—it's neither too acidic nor too tart.
