36 IBU

Brewed with 2-Row Pale and 5 Specialty malts, it's malty in both flavor and smell. A heap of Cascade and Willamette add balance to this easy drinking ale. Hole up, have a few, and tell us what you think. We’re bettin’ it’s the best Brown Ale you’ll ever have.

In my opinion - the gold standard for craft beer in Alabama. Delicious.

A: Pours a slightly murky copper-ish brown in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation and moderate amounts of orange + copper highlights. The beer has a half finger tall fizzy foamy tan head that reduces to a large patch of very thin film and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate amounts of toasted and toffee malts with a moderate amount of sweetness and a light note of nuts.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of toasted and dark malts with a moderate amount of toffee sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of nuts. Hints of bitterness in the finish which fades very quickly.

M: Medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation.

O: Pretty interesting to have the sweetness, toffee, and nuttiness in the brown ale... and I like it. Pretty easy to drink and it kind of reminds me of a smaller barleywine or old ale in flavor but with a much lower ABV.

A: The beer is very hazy brown in color. It poured with a half finger high beige colored head that died down but consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Light aromas of toffee and caramel malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of nutty malts along with notes of toffee. Hints of malty sweetness try to peak out towards the finish, but these are overshadowed by the nutty malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the nuttiness and apparent sweetness in this brown ale, which made it unique for the style.
