To can or not to can? That is indeed no question when it comes to Good People. The long awaited debut of GP in cans has been met with solid enthusiasm from the public; and with good reason. As any of you beer geeks know, modern cans offer a fantastic medium for beer transmission. Good People have utilized this to great effect for their IPA and Brown Ale beers. This can delivers crisp, clean, hoppy awesomeness with every sip. Recently I suffered a horrendous kitchen accident and spent hours in the ER getting stitched up. Upon my exit, the first stop I made on the way home was a six-pack of IPA goodness to sooth my jangled nerves. Soaking in a luxurious bath, I enjoyed a cool (NOT COLD!) IPA, which possessed better bubbles than the water I was in. The hoppy aromatherapy was just the ticket to shake the trauma from my mind. The citrusy, fruity taste danced on my tongue with the well-balanced malty sugars and then departed quickly leaving a pleasant memory where they had been. I suggest this beer for anyone, whether having a bad day or not, as a means of mental stabilization. Enjoy, beer drinkers. :)

No freshness date, poured into a pint

A- pours a clear golden-orange color with a small foamy and creamy white head that retains nicely

S- nice mix of citrusy orange peel and piney hops with some leafy and minty aromas. Sweet candy-like malt aroma with some bready notes to close it out

T- citrusy hops follow the aroma with flavors of orange peel and grapefruit juice, leafy and grassy notes, candy-like sweetness with some sweet toasted bread malt. The finish gives some piney notes with a nice bitter linger

M- medium body with medium prickly carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and finish

O- very good IPA that showcases some nice citrusy notes, well balanced malt allows the hops to shine
