Received as an extra in a trade and poured into my Duvel tulip.
A - Pours a nice hazy orange hue with a good one finger head that fades to leave light lacing and a nice thin blanket. Quite pleasant.
S - Aromas of nice tropical fruit, pineapples and the like with great orange/tangerine peel as well. Some faint malt and some very, very faint spicy alcohol. Real good.
T - Taste is pretty good. Not nearly as much tropical notes as in the nose, which is unfortunate, nice light pine and nice tangerine notes. Lots of resin here, like gnawing on an orange peel. Solid bitter finish, again the alcohol is hidden nicely.
M - Mouthfeel is really solid. Once more, the alcohol is hidden well and its nice and clean.
O - This came from Alabama? Could have fooled me. Very well done. Quite drinkable and enjoyable.

Appearance: Arrives with a clear amber color capped by a nice head that leaves a fair amount of lacing
Smell: Caramel and resinous hop tones; more piney than citrusy
Taste: Caramel sweetness on the front end with a growing resinous bitterness; piney and very bitter, after the swallow, though the residual sweetness never fades; somewhat fruity, in the finish, as well
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation; some warmth in the gullet
Overall: A decent DIPA but like all of the Good People beers, it has a bit more sweetness than what I would prefer
Serving type: on-tap
