Poured from the tap at the Bold City Brewery in Jax, FL.
Aroma- Has a nice spiced aroma with wheat and some citrus.
Appearance- Pours a semi-clear pale yellow with a medium sized white head.
Taste- A nice mix of wheat, citrus, spices, and malt.
Palate- This is a medium bodied beer with a moderate level of carbonation.
Overall- A real strong candidate in the Hefeweizen field. I would order this again and I encourage others to give this beer a try.

I literally made an account just to say how awesome this beer is.
Smells great, looks a bit cloudy, and tastes somewhat sweet yet bold. I'm really at a loss for words describing this beer in detail, and I've had plenty of other decent wheat beers, but this beer is simply outstanding. One of the best beers I've ever had in my life - definitely in my top 5. Bravo, Bold City.

Draft offering at kickbacks back in July. Served in a standard pint, the brew appears a pale yellow color with white frothy cap sitting atop. Patchy webbing of lace sticks all over the glass as the cap recedes.
The aromatics include spice of clove with mild fruit like pear/apple skins. A little bit of wheat grain is also included. The aromatics are pleasantly mild, without fault and spot on for the style.
The taste is mildly tart from the wheat along with a touch of grainy crispness. Spice of clove and fruit akin to some apple/pear sweeps across the tongue mid-palate. Lightly yeasty into the aftertaste.
This is a medium bodied brew with a light refreshing level of carbonation. It is crisp and easy dribking. Overall a nice take on the style. I would not hesitate ordering this again if looking to drink a hefeweizen.

A-pale gold and very cloudy as a may good wheat beers are. There is a thin white head that dissipates very quickly. Could be a 5 if there was better head renention.
S-nice cloves but no banana. Nice wheat spicy backbone. No hop aroma.
T-solid clove upfront. Wheat malt comes through. Just a hint of banana on the backend.
M-high carbonation that cleans the palate and leads to a refreshing, dry finish.
Some yeast strain produce low banana esters and I would assume that is the strain they used.

Enjoyed this beer at Bold City's brewpub. Golden and murky, with a rapidly dissipating head the smell is typical of wheat beers; bready and mild fruit notes. Taste is fruity as well but not overwhelmingly so. Mild to medium body. Overall the beer is refreshing and easy to drink.
