Wow. Last stop of Asheville, and it's a shame. This was by far our favorite stop (aside from App Vintner). The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic, with a hodge podge of young, old, round, and square people. The beer was great. I had an imperial stout on tap, along with a porter, an IPA, and an IIPA. All of the beers were really good, and the IIPA was super tasty, well above average.
They are in the basement of a large order building, and the best way to get to the pub is walk down the stairs on side of the building. They have a large outdoor area, part of it was covered with an awning, and a huge yard for playing cornhole or frisbee or whatever else you prefer. The service was fine, nothing special. It was busy, they were attentive, but I didn't try to start a conversation or anything or the sorts.
This is the best brewery in Asheville, hand down. Atmosphere, beer, location, everything. Well worth a visit.

located in the arts disticts. lots of metalwork, machinery parts artfully welded together, making the various outdoor seating areas all the more cozy/interesting. the brewery area is actually downstairs & faces the river on the backside. food trucks are available, as are buckets of peanuts. beer is solid, nothing earth-shattering. service is good.
