Bottle: Poured a deep dark brown color ale with a large brown foamy head with OK retention with some lacing. Aroma of deep caramelized malt notes with some toffee and light bitter notes. Taste is also dominated by deeply caramelized malt notes with some toffee, very minimal amount of residual sugar and a slightly bitter finish. Body is pretty full for style with good level of carbonation and fait alcohol notes are also perceptible. Enjoyable old ale but I think I prefer the regular or barrel-aged version.

Adam from the stone 2015
Enjoyed with 3 years of age on it.
Review two thousand!
I poured this into my favorite teku.
This pours the color of cola-coffee topped by a tan cap of foam. Impressive staying power, with a deep cloud that lingers for a while releasing all sorts of wonderful aromas. First the raisin and stone fruits hit the nose, with a touch of dark chocolate and just a wisp of smoke. There's a hint of what I'd call Belgian chocolate backing this, a nice lightly estery note. I get more of the floral notes mixed with chocolate nibs and some raisin and stone fruits as I sip. Some tobacco and leather linger in the shadows, emerging as it opens. It's smooth and rounded with a pronounced roasty finish that brings everything into focus. At three years of age this is tasting wonderful.

This will be short...
All the components of Adam with the addition of a mineral water like contribution, slightly more bitter, metallic, and crisper.
Delicious, but I think I prefer the original to this. Cheers.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a snifter. Allowed to warm for a half hour.
Pours a muddy brown body with a big three finger frothy tan head that reduces slowly to leave nice lacing and great retention.
Aromas seem a little muted.. not getting much here except light caramel and toffee. On the tongue it's a different story, lots of flavor here. Sweet caramel, brown sugar, dark fruits, a little metallic on the follow through. Bitter aftertaste and roasty finish. Medium body and medium carbonation.
Solid beer, good experience. The bitterness on the finish is a little cloying.
