Thanks to BeerBeing for the trade. 2004 bottling. Pours with moderate head, body is slightly hazy, ruby brown. Nose of piney citrusy hops. Complex malt.
Taste is an incredible balance of juicy citrus fruits, a pine cone or two, cherry, vanilla, and pineapple. At this stage, the malt is stronger than the hops. Mouthfeel is thick, heavy, and smooth. Obviously drinkable.
