2007 vintage poured into a Unibroue tulip. Pours a murky dark orange with a nice frothy cream head. Aroma is some crisp sweet malts and pine hops. The taste is a wonderful abundance of burnt caramel, molasses, dried fruits and pine, all dancing together on the tongue. The beer is certainly a heavy sipper, but I the alcohol is still fairly well hidden, I am certainly going to let this one warm. This is simply one of the best Barely Wines I have had the pleasure of drinking, words cannot describe how much I would love to see these guys sold on the East coast.
