Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a snifter. This is a 2014 version. Reviewed from notes from earlier tonight.
Appearance: Pours brown with a reddish hue. No head whatsoever.
Smell: Cherry, milk chocolate, bourbon, toasted oak.
Taste: Chocolate, malts, vanilla, molasses, cherry, roasted malts. The cherry is more subdued than in the aroma.
Mouth-feel: Flat with a medium to thick, slightly sticky body. I miss the carbonation.
Overall: Nice sweet flavors mask the ABV well. Really nice Aroma. The carbonation does make a big difference though.

12 oz bottle, dated 2014. Pours dark brown with no real carbonation.
The aroma is bourbon chocolate cherries.
The flavor is sweet malts, strong bourbon alcohol, dark fruits, roast chocolate and slightly tart cherry. There's a little harsh alcohol in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with no carbonation.
Overall, a nice decedent beer.

2014 vintage into Dragoon goblet.
Pours black, flat, with dark brown edges. Not the prettiest pour considering the extremely low carbonation.
Aroma is huge oak, leather, deep plum, fig, plump raisin, caramelized dark sugars, new leather, and hints of sherry. The cherries are not clearly evident on the aroma. Smells rich, decadent, monstrous, deep..
There it is,,, cherry! A deep red cherry currant flavor cuts through all the other nuances and a fruity tartness takes hold of the reign mid palate and rides it till the end. In to support are those flavors of oak, caramelized sugar, leather, plum, raisin, fig, and that lovely base Adam smoke character. Not overly sweet one bit. Want sweet, get some Bruery. It's all true cherry essence mixed with the barrel and Adam.
Mouthfeel sports a heavier side of medium body, low and I mean low carbonation, and a syrupy consistency. But syrupy in a cough syrup kind of way that is in no way unappealing surprisingly.
The 2014 vintage is a hit. Very much a beer to sip and contemplate. I'd compare it to a liqueur due to it's puny carb presence but it's much more than a liqueur could ever be. Huge depth of flavor, keen integration of the cherry, barrel, and base beer flavors. It's hard to knock the beer for something that actually may help it stand apart from others. Not many beers are near flat and most that are fail to offer any intrigue, yet Cherry Adam has such sharp, vinous, deep, and rooted flavors that it delivers a near wine-like, spirit hybrid type experience.
