Pours a hazy amber with hints of orange and a thin white head that disappears quickly. Aromas of floral hops with a very earthy background and some honey. Taste is of good earthy floral hop finely balanced with a crisp malt. It finishes with a resinous grassy taste. Mouthfeel is kind of sticky and thick for a pale ale.
This may not look or feel like a pale ale but I love the taste. It's like they put part of the vine in with the hop flowers. But the hops don't overpower the taste and make it an interesting counter balance to the malts. It's a very earthy taste that I just love and would be happy to have several more.
