This place is an abomination. I read a couple good reviews but I'm wondering if they were done by the owners of this place. What a joke. The beer is covered in dust, overpriced and out of date. There's no organization or cleanliness to be found. Store was void of customers. The place looks run down and gross. I mean honestly how is this place still in business? They must have a good wine selection?
The worst part was the creepy guy working there. He followed me around and just stared. I asked him if there was something wrong and he never responded. He walked away and then came back and did the same thing. It appeared like he thought I was going to steal from him. I then asked what his problem was and he said nothing. WTF is happening right now?
This place really REALLY sucks and there isn't a reason at all to ever step foot in here.

Really Nice Beer Store. They have a great craft beer selection. I became their customer because they always have new beers. Great Belgium Selction and lots of Local brews. There is whole section of local beer then they have section for Foreign beer in subcategory, South American, European, Asian, Macro brews. Apart from Harpoon, they carry victory, fisherman, cisco brew, Newport. I did not know there were that many brewers around in MAss. I love to support locals and therefore they have my business. The person that works there knows beer by heart and i was impressed by the knowledge. Fun to talk to.

What a great store. The Owner is adding beer everyday. Very nice people, seems like family owned and always willing to go the extra mile. Like the other reviewer the the probably have the best selection in the area. Must check them out if you in the area. People are knowledgeable and can recommend great products. I m very impressed by there Belgium selection and their IPA selections. A few times i have requested them to carry few of my brands i saw them within a week. Some of the products they carry are Dogfish Head, Notch, Vicory, Racer 5, Delerium Treams, Val-dieu, Chimay, Triple Karmlet, La'chufe, Allagash and many more.

This is a small wine store, with beer in the back. They have a beer of the month club, and the focus of beer is on craft and quality. The location is very convenient, right in Medford Square. That said, the selection is small, and the prices seem high, even for the traditionally cheaper stock such as Sam Adams. If price was no object, I would be much happier, but if not, I would head down the road to Atlas.
This store might be excellent for the wine lover, but I am not knowledgeable enough to comment.

Grapevine Travelers is primarily a wine store, but they do have a nice collection of liquors that I haven't see elsewhere, plus gift items. Eight beer coolers or so filled with typical macros, micros, and lots of fun craft beers and imports. They also have a small but separate organic and biodynamic section. They have an especially nice selection for the Medford Square area, and do regular free wine tastings on Thursdays and Saturdays. The store has a nice upscale feel to it, as well. Grapevine Travelers is my current beer store of choice within Medford.
