Presenting the latest installment of the critically acclaimed series, "Reaper Drinks Beer that People Left at His House After a Party."
Pours a pee-yellow color. I wish it could be described as anything else, but this is the color of your average pee. 1+ fingers of white head go away as fast as a rolling stone downhill.
Oh, snap! Latrobe's Finest Premium Beer has a nose to it. Hops! Floral aromas and some cut grass! This smells like someone took a shitty American version of a saison and cut it with water and poured it over cornmeal. But still, hops!
The taste belies the promise of the nose (and by promise, clearly, I mean relative to Rolling Rock's peers in its style). Some appleskin and a bit of vegetal stalk are all that you taste from the hops. The cooked corn flavor dominates, and it is unpleasant.
The heavy carbonation feels very nice on the tongue but it makes for a harsher finish than desired. Drinkability is pretty average given that this beer doesn't taste good at all.
I am going to move away from the rest of the Rolling Rocks in my fridge faster than I move away from a Rolling Stones live performance.

See the horse on the front if the bottle. It's horse piss. Or at least that's the color. Smells of metallic skunk. Taste is not there but it's excellent for a hot day. A sixxer is $4 which isn't bad when your pour and need to blow off steam. Goes down smooth and easy to drink a dozen.
Gives a bad hangover so beware everyone
