12oz green bottle with a painted on label. Last time I had one of these I remember them being from Latrobe, Pennsylvania, but I see now that Anhauser-Bush has bought them out and they are now made in St.Louis, Missouri. No freshness date.
The beer poured a crystal clear pale gold color with a 1½-finger white head. The head lasted only 30 secOnds and left no lacing whatsover.
Smells like bubblegum and corn sweetener.
Slightly sweet flavor from the pale malt and corn. The adjuncts used here are both corn and rice, but not getting much flavor from the rice. There is a mild bitterness from the hops which balances nicely.
Crisp and light with medium carbonation.
Not bad for the price. It's an easy drinking crisp refreshing lager.
