Grand Vin makes the best out of OK's beer selection. The store is small but 70% of the store is dedicated to beer. They had some things that you would not expect to see in Tulsa like Mikkellers, but Tulsa does not have the customer base to turn the inventory over, so you need to look at the dates on the bottle closely before purchasing. I like this place, its my first choice when I don't plan on going out of the state anytime soon.

I ran across this place while walking around Utica Square just after Christmas. They had a good selection of craft beer and a better selection of Christmas beers than some of the other liquor stores I had visited recently. Some of the nice Belgian's I wanted to buy were near a window and I asked the man at the register if they had a problem with skunked beer. I told him I would buy some beer if he would go in the back and get me fresh bottles that I know had not been in the light. These were green champagne bottles that were fairly expensive, so I did not want to take a chance on Skunky beer. He happily went and got the bottles I wanted. I am looking forward to my next trip to Tulsa and will definitely go back. The bottles that I purchased were in excellent condition.

This store takes more of a boutique stab at their beer selection, but I liked what I saw.
All beer tried were in great shape. Beers were all away from sun exposure, user friendly layout
Friendly knowledgeable service on the floor/behind the counter
Pretty good selection, had all the relevant recent releases; BLVD Seeyoulater & Harvest Dance, Choc Dubbel, & many holiday release to include a few sixers from last year.
A bit pricey, but look at the surrounding stores, you are in the hoity-toity part of Tulsa, shopping-wise, damn pricey. If you are looking for the wide swath of OK beer selection, go to Mid-town; looking for overall quality come here. Hopefully I won't be back too soon, medical issues are vectoring me over here as of late,,,

The Grand Vin Bottle Shop is located next to Ted's Pipe Shop in upscale Utica Square which is one of Tulsa's finest dining & shopping centers. The Grand Vin is Tulsa's first boutique wine store specializing in small production, hard to find wines. Although they cater mostly to the trendy suburbanite wine snobs, they also carry one of Tulsa's finest selections of domestic & imported beers. Beer Manager, Chris Bryant (a.k.a. thehand) is a newly converted beer geek and keeps a keen eye on industry news within the state. He does a fabulous job of keeping the beer rotated and minimizes stock to maintain freshness. The major drawback of the location is that the beer sits on shelving in the front windows where it's subject to direct heat & sunlight. However, the windows have sunscreens and there hasn't been many returned "skunky" beers according to the owners. If you find yourself in the neighborhood or completely bored while your wife is shopping, then stop by for all of your beer needs. Be certain to let them know you're a BeerAdvocate (BA) and receive a 10% discount on beer!
