My first time at this place. They have a very good selection of beers. A lot come from the US (Stone, Dogfish, Rogue, Jolly Pumpkin etc) but there is also several imported: many different Mikkeller, To Ol, Haandbryggeriet. Quickly I haven't seen a lot of Belgian beers.

The cashier (Sheree?) kindly explained me how the tags, signs and pricing works. One thing I particularly like that is very unusual for specialized beer store is that you pick a beer in a 6-pack and mix your own. Usually when creating a pack you cannot grab from a full 6-pack.
Also, when you pay cash you have a 20% discount which is a very good rebate. However, I still think that is a bit pricey compared to other good beer stores in various states.

This is pretty much the only place in Fayetteville where you can get decent craft brews. Some people mention Harris Teeter, and they do have a decent selection, but nothing too different and nothing new. I have only ever visited the Raeford Rd. location, which has a very large beer selection. I know nothing about wine, but they had a pretty extensive selection for it as well. Looke dlike more beer than wine.

Great variety. The mix and match is nice. The store itself looks a little shabby, but that's any mom and pop store in Fayetteville really. They are very expensive. I noticed a few bottles of beer (single bottles) with a price tag of $20. That's way too much. I paid $18 for a 6 pack. I'm only going to be able to visit maybe twice a month if that at these prices.

Staff very knowledgeable, very nice.

I have been living in Fayetteville, NC for about 3 years now, which has been somewhat difficult for an avid craft beer consumer. There are only a few shops in town that offer a decent craft selection and Bob & Sheree's is one of them. There are some significant pros and cons to this retailer.

PROS:

Friendly and helpful staff, they want to make sure you find what you're looking for

Pretty decent selection of beers for a small location, willing to special order varieties they don"t have in stock

They usually have free tastings and if your purchase is for someone special, gift wrapping is free

CONS:

Prices for singles can be a bit outrageous, pay attention when making your own six pack!

This is a beer and WINE store, they definitely know more about wine than beer. Also, I'm not too sure they are careful with the handling and storage of their bottled beer. Have paid a pretty penny for some skunky brews!

Bob & Sheree's has two locations. I usually go to the one in downtown Fayetteville, which is the smaller of the two and therefore has less of a selection. I usually only get beers there, so I can't say much on their selction of wine. They do have a great selection of local/North Caorlina brews. But the shocking lack of sour beers, other than a couple of lambics, is a major minus in my book. The service is a hit or miss there. Sometimes I get a salesperson who is really knowledgeable and somtimes I get somebody who doesn't know anything beyong Bud Light and Corona. They do charge quite a premium for being one of the very few dedicated beer and wine shop in town.

Bob and Sheree's has two locations in Fayetteville. One on Raeford Rd. and one downtown on Hay St. Both are great shops, although the one on Raeford has a much bigger selection, as well as refrigerated beers. The one downtown is a nice place to stop to grab a beer and sit on the patio and hang out.

The quality is great, they had a pretty good selection, the best i've seen in Fayetteville. They have the mix and match six packs, although it isnt a fixed price, they charge individually for each beer.

The service was fantastic. Sheree was working when I went in and she went out of her way to talk to my wife and I. She was very kind and knowledgable. So were the other two workers, they knew the beers and they let me taste all the beer/wine that I was looking at

The selection was the best that I have seen for the city of Fayetteville. This will be my go-to place for beer from now on/

The mix and match six packs were a litle more pricey than at other shops that I have been too, although Bob and Sheree's had a much better selection

located on the renovated section of Hay Street in a small boutique shop, Bob & Sheree's is a tiny store that would seem to cater more to the wine crowd but does carry a respectable selection of beer

a range of Victory, Highland, Duck-Rabbit and other American micros make up a selection of about 50 - but it could easily be closer to 100 as the reviewer below mentioned, Stone bombers were available, also a few of your standard import "micros", just about anybody should be able to find something here to enjoy, but there's nothing hard-to-find that would make this a destination

the lady in the shop was nice, didn't really need any help, the store is kept pretty cool and the bottles were clean, the only quality problem I can foresee would be age do to low turnaround - but that's all speculation on my part

prices are generally two dollars more than you'd find elsewhere

Bob and Sheree's sells both beer and wine with a concentration on wine. I actually met Sheree herself on my first visit to the store. While my wife perused the wines, I reviewed the beer selection. They have approximately 100 beers at the Hay Street location, but Sheree informed me that the location on Raeford Road had a larger selection. 75% of the beer in stock is craft american brew. The remainder of the stock was "high end/mass produced" brew; for example--newcastle, youngs, and sierra nevade. One exception, I did notice some chimay, but only because trappists are my favorite. Better selection than any of the grocery stores in town, but I can find better. Also, everything seemed to be a dollar or three more expensive than it should be.

This place is better than a grocery store by far, but if you're willing to look, you can find a better selection at a better price.
