Honey Ale pours a straw like color with no head. There is a mellow pale and stale like aroma, with hints of spice. The taste is very light, pale, with a mellow hint of honey. Weaker body, but still some flavors come though, a little flat too. Overall its a nice beer, nothing to great but still enjoyable.

Here is a pale yellow brew with no head or lacing. The smell is quite light, grainy with perhaps a shade of honey. Palate similarly is a very light beer with whisps of honey. It's mildly crisp and of a refreshing quality. Light body. If somebody handed me a glass it'd be sufficient to drink, but I'd not seek this one out.

I had this as a part of their 5oz sampler package in their bar which you get all 10 of their tap beers to try.

Pours a clear amber color with a moderate head and a slight honey scent. Has a smooth, mild honey taste to it that finishes rather smooth. Overall it was an ok beer.

Darker gold than I would expect from a honey ale. Perhaps they brewed with some wildflower or clover honey that was darker. There is a wispy head of light lacing. Sour nose, but not in an unpleasant way. Similar to melted snow both on the nose and in the flavor. Melted snow or the frost from inside the freezer. I have experienced this in many beers, and can't place what causes it as of yet.

For this beer style I thought the Honey Ale was one of the best Blonde Ales I've ever had. The beer is a clear yellow and the carbonation was pretty good so it sparkled a lot. At first taste the beer has almost undetectable honey flavor. But it's a crisp and not at all cloying as you may be prepared for. Then the delicious honey flavor sneaks up on you midway through and finishes with a delightful nut taste afterwards. I ordered it as part of the sampler and wished I had had a whole glass of it.

On-tap @ the Brewpub.

Dull yellow color..no head to speak of on this one. Slight spice aroma with some honey as well. The "honey" flavor actually was a bit cloying for me. Slightly metallic in the finish and just kinda "blah". The mouthfeel is very crisp and it's fairly refreshing, but not sure I'd want to drink more than one of these.

Body is light golden in color, similar to any American Macro. Thin, white, and disappearing head. Smells lightly of honey and thyme. Smooth, light body. Very mellow. Neither sweet nor bitter. Well balanced. Quite drinkable and refreshing. Would be sessionable on a hot day but nothing special.
