A very average brewpub. The beer is ok, but I can find better beer not far away. The most popular brew seems to be the Honey Blonde, and I suppose that’s because it’s a lot like Miller Lite. They do have a fairly extensive menu, but most of the food is pretty average, except I will say that their brick oven pizzas are pretty good. Lot’s of TVs in the bar area, and a couple of big screens in the restaurant area. They do have a fairly large patio area, which is nice since they don’t allow cigar smoking indoors. As another reviewer mentioned, the best deal to be found here is the $1 pints all day on Wednesdays. They also have $1 pints on Thursdays from 6pm-close if you have a Two Rows mug. In addition, they have $2 pints Monday-Friday from 4pm-7pm and Saturdays from noon-6pm, and they have $2 pints all day on Sundays for anyone wearing Two Rows caps or shirts, so if you plan to watch a lot of NFL games here, then buying a cap/shirt is the economical way to go.

This is the original Dallas Metro location where the brewery is located. The brewpub is fairly easy to find with ample parking. Not much I can add from the other reviews about the atmosphere or decor except that the management does a great job maintaining the place. I must admit that the customer service has waned a bit over the years and is subject to the alignment of the planets. The beer quality & selection have always been decent, but much better when Mike Kraft was at the brewing helm. The menu is fairly diverse for pub grub and the burgers, sandwiches, and Tex-Mex are great! It's hard to beat a cheddar & honey pepper bacon buger washed down with a Route 66 Amber or some fajita chicken & borracho bean nachos paired with a fresh Piledriver Pale Ale. Bring the whole family, as the kids will absolutely love the Ugly Mug rootbeer. Good stop for lunch or dinner and a craft beer.

I visited this restaurant with about 30 people during a business meeting. I was very surprised at the service. We received very good service for such a large group. We had reservations 1 month in adavance so maybe they accounted for that with extra servers, but it worked.

The food was decent. Chicken sandwich is what I had and it was good. Nothing stood out though. The beer was fairly good. I tried the porter and it was decent.

All in all an average place. With as many people as we had, it is hard to get an accurate gauge of what the service and staff and what not is normally like, but I enjoyed everything. Especially since it was free!

I found the brewpub to have a nice atmosphere, with the bar area seperated from the dining area (there were tables in the bar area too.)
The quality was slightly above average but nothing real outstanding. The service was fine, no issues there. They had an average selection (5 or 6 beers). They were good, but not great. The stout was above average. No beers wer below avergae. A little more tender loving care and devotion to the beer and they could go a lot farther. Still, a place I could go back to if the opportunity presented itself again.

While most of the reviews here are positive, I'm gonna have to give this place a big thumbs down.

The layout is typical brewpub modern, with a nice layout and decor, lots of televisions and wood. Full bar, including liquor and bottled macros along with the fresh local beer. Drinks I can understand, but why would a brewer serve someone else's beer?

Service was slow, less-than-helpful, college-aged kids who had a kinda "Huh?" attitude -- no info at all about their beers, even basic questions like style. I don't expect the staff to be brewmasters but please be able to answer me "light" or "dark."

One pet peeve: All through the history printed on the menu and their website, they refer to the origins of their name with the special "tworows" barley (exactly like that, not a typo) like its some kind of genus/species name of the plant. There is a reason it is called "two-row barley," y'know....

And all this could be forgiven if the brewed offerings stepped up but, sadly, they disappoint. Seven beers available today, tried several, didn't find any of even average quality. Some sort of strange taste throughout, lots of chemical character, like an infection running through all the styles. Blech.

The food was a saving-grace, with a pretty good kitchen and wood-fired pizza oven. But given the small details and flaws plus the poor quality of their beer, I have to question the management's skill and expertise in brewing.

EDIT: After a return visit, I found their Hopzilla is quite good. My previous opinions still stand but I can say they have at least one beer that is worth drinking.

There is nothing particularly outstanding about Two Rows, but overall it deserves to be on the list of places to check out for any beer lover. The atmosphere is good, but where I think it loses points in my eyes, is that it lacks any sort of direction or focus. An Irish pub is Irish (duh) and sports bars have sports. But Two Rows is just, well, there. They almost always have sports tuned in to most if not all of the numerous TVs, but just showing sports doesn't make it a sports bar.
[EDIT]
After reading this over, I'd like to clarify. Two Rows has a "direction", it's a brewpub. However, not enough emphasis is put on the "brew" and the "pub" aspects of it, save for maybe some of the decor. I don't know, it's hard to explain, but it just feels to ... commercialized, I guess.
[/EDIT]
The selection is decent, they have a fairly wide range of offerings of their own brews. Speaking of their beer, I don't know why, but I'm not particular fond of any of it. I'll drink it, mind you, and it's certainly a better choice than a Bud Light (if for no other reason than to support a local brewpub), but it's nothing spectacular - I think my biggest complaint is none of the beer there has any sort of head. I don't know if this is by design, but for whatever reason, it puts me off a little. Next, the food is surprisingly good, but given that it's a restaurant as well, one kind of has to expect that you're not going to get your average run of the mill bar food. They also have a good special (I think it's on Wednesdays) where their beer is only a dollar, which is nice - plus it draws in the crowds.

Note, while this review may seem negative, that's not necessarily the case, this place does have some redeeming qualities. If you are in the Dallas area, I would recommend you check it out - again, if for no other reason than to support a local brewpub. To summarize, if you are looking for a place simply to drink beer, I think Two Rows is probably passable (unless it's on a Wednesday). However, if you are looking for somewhere with a good balance between beer and food, this may be a place you ought to check out.

The beer at the Greenville Two Rows is the worst feature of the place, though the beer isn't bad, just extremely unremarkable. I found that everything they brew is kinda watery. Their barleywine, which I believe is still not a regular offering, was pretty good, but not up to normal American Style Barleywine snuff. Mixing their IPA and barleywine makes for a very enjoyable pint though.

The atmosphere is great, IMO. The restaurant is very family friendly, the staff is courteous, though not very beer-knowledgable, and I thought the food was quite good for a brewpub--upscale American in style (better than Chili's, but not Michelen Star worthy).
