Stopped in here yesterday while killing time before the RJ Rockers Taste and Tour session. Location is very easy to spot with a sign hanging over the door and one up above on the wall. Location is right on Main St. just one block over from Rockers and Main Street Pub. Upon walking in, I was instantly greeted by the owner. He was serving someone a glass of wine when I walked in and was offered a taste myself. There is also a nice little lounge setup toward the front of the store where there were people sitting and enjoying wine as well. I'm guessing they have Wi-Fi as well as most of them were on their computers. The beer is on the very back wall for those of you who are curious. There was a decent selection here, but nothing awe-inspiring. They do have the option of removing single bottles from four/six packs and buying them individually which I really like. This place is worth stopping in if you are going to Main Street Pub or Rockers anyway, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go.

Stopped in here the other week after taking Dylan to the mushroom up the road. Nicely located right on Main st, we parked across the way and stopped in for a few moments. Asked immediatly and quite courteously if we needed anything it was a welcome reprieve from most of what you get around here. Nice, decent selection, better then I would have thought. A mostly wine store, they did their part to carry a very good representation of what we can get in the area. I saw a few Belgians and various 750's on the wall but nothing really making me look twice. Pretty much the full rockers lineup as well as most common things in the area. Overall it was not a bad stop, but we just really don't have the go to place in the area. Maybe they can get it all together and be that place.

If you're looking to buy some Belgian beer in Spartanburg, look no further. Carriage House stocks several different Belgian brands and even a Trappist brewery or two. I was quite surprised to find any of this in Spartanburg! I also noticed several Stone and Victory beers as well as the local R.J. Rockers. Many beers seemed to be available in either singles or six-packs. I was immediately helped when I went in the door and was told that each beer in stock is carefully evaluated before it gets put on the shelf. I was not blown away with the selection but I was just happy to find something other than the usual here in Spartanburg.
