I've visited this place twice in the past few months and both times were enjoyable experiences.
Mondo Vino, as the name suggests, is primarily a wine place. That said, their beer selection is broad and well balanced. A good selection of local/regional brews as well as west coast and imports. Even some nice surprises that I hadn't seen at any other store.
Atmosphere is really nice for a liquor store. Even though it's not one of the criteria listed for judging, I appreciate a clean, comfortable, and well-organized store.
The prices are reasonable but they aren't really trying to be the cheapest place to buy beer.
The best part, by far, is the service. It's one of the only stores I've ever been to where multiple people asked if they could help or made suggestions. They all seem knowledgeable and eager to assist.

A-Mondo is medium to small sized store located in a nice, yuppy-ish neighborhood west of downtown Denver. The store has a nice urban-neighborhood feel. It is open and airy with higher ceilings, but strangely dark inside. Wine takes up most of the floor space, but step up towards the row of coolers and you'll get your beer fix. It is very comfortable in here.
Q-All of the beers are stored cold (except for the random magnum or other large format bottle that sometimes shows up outside the cooler). The beer is almost all high-class stuff with a nice mix of imports from Belgium, Germany, Czech, Mexico, and a decent selection of craft from Colorado and elsewhere in the states. Mondo always seems to have something a little off the beaten path.
Ser-The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They don't pressure me when I just want to stare at the coolers for a while, but they will happily answer a question or find somebody in the store to answer a question if I have one.
Sel-The selection is not huge compared to places like Argonaut or Davidson's, but there is a good variety and, like I mentioned above, there is always something here that I don't see at other stores. The import selection is solid, in particular. Bombers and 750s are a little light, but the smaller selection is full of good beer. Mondo isn't full-on craft; if you need a Coors Light, you can get that too.
V-Mondo is pricey compared to other stores. It is not exorbitant, but you'll pay a bit more here.
O-One of my favorite shops in town. Good vibe, good service, good beer.

Mondo Vino is my go to hidden gem in Denver. I actually feel dumb for telling you about it. But they are great over there and if it helps their business great! Beer selection is top notch and they keep it all COLD! Every beer in the place is in a cooler an it takes up the whole wall there. They get lots of things from Crooked Stave, Funkworks, RR, and every local Colorado Brewery. They also are the most helpful nice beer store people I have ever met. Every time I finally pick a beer they will come over and hold it at the register for me so I can keep looking. A very simple gesture that goes a long way. Mondo Vino is great local beer store. Oh and if you like wine apparently they have some there.

Rolled on over to Mondo Liquors, one of our first stops for our week in Denver. Really a nice place inside and out, great storage for the wine, tons of, well, nothing but refrigeration for the beer. All of it. I don't think there is any beer that is not refrigerated here.
Quality is very good, just all kinds of good stuff running the gamut of styles and places. Imports, locals etc. . .
Very helpful people there. Good chit chat. Amazing selection, there's tons of stuff. Some of the cooler stuff I picked up was Barrel Aged Boris, Consecration, Oud Floris, Victory BA Storm King, BA Ruffian etc. . . but it isn't just the bombers, they have good 4/6 packs, picked up some terribly, undated Specher dipa just because I was shocked to find it, I know its not particularly good.
Only downside was their prices are the highest in Denver from what I can tell. $13 for Oud Floris, found it for $10 at DaveCo.
Nonetheless, I still recommend you make the trip over and check this place out, lots and lots of stuff. Wine and spirits section nothing to sneeze at either.
