Poured from large bottle into hefe glass.

A: Pours a darker, hazy orange with a fluffy 2 finger head. A typical pour for a hefe, nice color and head.

S: Citrus, spice, wheat, mellow hops, and earthy tones. Orange/grapefruit. Corriander.

T: A nice spicey/citrus taste at first. You get the wheat taste midway and finishing. Well balanced.

M: Light bodied, creamy and smooth. Very nice mouth coating.

O: A very good example of a hefe, really nice taste and smell with a good finish.

Beer bottle (50cl), tasted in 2004.

Appearance : orange color, with a huge white foamy head.
Smell : wheat, cloves and vanilla aromas.
Taste and mouthfeel : sweet malty with wheat notes, dry wheaty end.
Drinkability : a good beer in the German hefe weizen style.

16oz. bottle: This poured a really hazy, darker golden color. There was a huge pile of fluffy white head on it. It seemed to rise up out of nowhere, as I was pouring it slowly. Some clove and wheat to the very pleasant aroma. There is a nice wheat flavor, with hints of lemon and banana. A little light in the body, but very tasty. An excellent beer!

Another good wheat beer that I recently sat down with after trying many, many times. Hazy banana in colour with a nice fishbone white head that lasts quite a while. Aromas are all clove, spice, and wheat, with a nice malt backbone as well. Taste is similar, hearty wheat, mingles well with the spice and banana to round this out and make it such a nice lunchtime choice. Mouthfeel is wheaty/medium bodied. Drinkability is quite, quite nice.
