Some decent brews. When I've been in, no beer geeks or even beer knowledgable folk to be found

The selection of wine here is enormous. The selection of beer is quite smaller. While they don't have a huge variety like a few other stores in Columbus, the choices they have in the high end stuff is nicely selected. They have some very high quality choices.

The service wasn't super knowledgable about different beers. Other stores in Columbus have individuals with good knowledge you can strike up a pretty deep conversation with on beer. However, the lady there went out of her way to search in the back for a beer I requested. They were out of it, but they were very nice.

It was a bit pricey, and this was the downfall on the place for me. If you are looking for something you can't find at Boo's or Columbus Beverage...you just might be able to find it here.

If you are looking for the cheapest place to buy good beer in Columbus this is not your place. But if you are looking for the best knowledgable service look no further. When you go here ask for Ottis - this man really is in search of what you want. If he can get it he will. My hat is off to Ottis.

Okay the down and dirty about the selection. The good beer is in the back cooler. The BMC is in the right hand cooler. In the back cooler starting to the far left you will find a small selection of wine then the belgian and belgian look alike start in. There selection there is what I would call good. Next you will find a few German Weizenbocks and Weats. Right in the middle of it all is a four pack of Thomas Hardy's for $27.99 - ouch. Then we get to the American beer. They have Left Hand, North Coast (stuff I'd never seen by them), Samuel Adams (but no Hallertau), lots of different IPA's and Double IPA's. A good selection from Dogfish Head. Victory was right at the top (I think they had about 4 different Victories). Oskar Blues Gordon and Dale's Pale Ale, there was no Ten Fidy which I wanted badly. Great Divide and Flying Dog were present. I can't remember all of them but I would say that no less than 150 different beers can be found here. And I'm not counting the BMC stuff.

Like I said they have a good selection but it is overpriced. The service is excellent.

Visited Wine And Spirits Shoppe At Bradley Park recently and made a little beer haul for myself. This store is easy to find thanks to the BA Google map link. Found many beers I can not find in Alabama. They also have a nice selection of liquor and wine. I picked up a 12pk Victory sampler, 12pk Great Divide sampler, 6pk Dales Pale Ale, 375ml Old Ruffian, 17oz Schlenkerla Rauchbier, 500ml Aventinus. Also spotted some DuckRabbitt and others. The only disappointment for me was the mediocre selection of Sweetwater and Terrapin(ain't Columbus in Georgia?). All in all this is a fine place with friendly service and beers which are currently unavailable to me back in Alabama.
