The shoulder of the bottle says: "12-03-19 11:56 1907203-1"
Appearance: The body is black and it has a very short head that quickly fades to a thin off-white ring. Very little retention or lacing.
Aroma: There is a light aroma of caramel and a faint note of chocolate.
Taste: Up front there is some toffee flavor, then there is a light bit of carbon. There is a hint of coffee-like flavor.
Mouthfeel: It is on the lower side of a medium body. Mild bitterness.
Overall: It's a decent English Porter. It has a nice set of flavors and aromas which would pair nicely with anything from a filet of salmon or eggs benedict. I could drink it again from time to time. I recommend it if you like a nice easy going porter. I would like to try it on tap.

Aroma is strong with chocolate, very little coffee present. The beer pours a nearly opaque brown with a ring of off white-head. Low carbonation, but fitting for the style. Mild roast and chocolate flavor with a touch of astringency in the finish. Overall a very nice approachable porter.

From the bottle, it pours a clear dark brown with a thick, luscious light tan head that lasts a bit. Lacing as you enjoy it. In the nose, it is roasted malts. In the mouth , it is the same - yum! Well made American Porter!
