This place has a really cool vibe and atmosphere. The food is really good. I've never had a pretzel as good or as big as they serve, and the cheeses and mustards are outstanding. The beer, on the other hand, is extremely overpriced and not very good, in my opinion. They have a sign outside that says they serve "domestic bottles" but if you ask for one, the bartender will give you a hard time and treat you like you don't know your beer. They will insist you try samples of their Hofbrau beers and choose one, but there's really not a good choice. I love IPAs and stouts and they offer nothing for my preference. Good cold cuts, great pretzel, but sorry, I just can't pay 8 or 9 bucks for a beer I really don't want.

Stepped off of the street into a German themed restaurant. Expected good selection of Hofbräuhaus beers. Surprisingly, but not unpleasantly, there was Maibock on tap in July! Yum! Food, German themed, was well made, presented and tasty. Nice!

The atmosphere was great. Nice outdoor area, small bar inside, and hot chicks in german outfits. The quality of the beer was excellent. I got a flight which led me to a full liter of the Maibock. The service was exceptional. The lady that served us was quick, kind, flirty, and prompt. The selection was great. They offered all their regular and a seasonal. Everything you should expect from a place that serves their own. The value was great too. I got a military discount on the liter. Sat outside on a nice summer day and enjoyed some great brews. Excellent place with a great atmosphere.

After shopping with the girlfriend for awhile we stopped in here for a brew and a pretzel. Nice place, it wasn't crowded.

The staff was nice, and kept a good eye on my glass for when I needed a refill. Buy one of the liter mugs and they fill it for $5, not a bad deal. You leave with a nice piece of glassware and you get a discounted fill up.

Ordered two pretzels while we were there, very very good pretzel and mustard.

Overall it was a bit pricy, but nothing in that complex is going to be cheap.

Went here for a mid afternoon break. My wife and I had been shopping at pier park and it was freakin hot. I was ready for a nice heffe. The place was pretty crowded for a Monday afternoon. Considering the location I'm sure the tourists keep them busy. The place had an authentic German feel. The staff was friendly and attentive. Not to mention they weren't rough on the eyes, sorry I just had to throw that out there. The food is all German. My wife and I split a pretzel. It was well worth the $11. The cheese dip that is made with their beer is out of this world. The prices were steep for sure, but anywhere u go in this plaza was gonna be expensive. Obviously, if you don't dig the German brews or food, this place is not for u.

This is a nice place to go relax and enjoy a large beer. The beer can be expensive, which is a bit of drag, but then there is no other place quite like this. Military ID gets a liter for $8 or $9. Folks used to full flavor beer selections will have a hard time with the beer offering. They serve Hofbrau beer which is good, but lacks character. There is nothing for the IPA or stout fan. The wheat beer is my favorite of the bunch.

The food is all German and pretty good. If you don't like German food you may struggle, but you should be able to find something. The service is good and comparable to other places in PC, but like other places, it depends on your waiter/waitress. Overall, service is good.

The atmosphere is the best part about the Hofbrau BG. Its just an easy place to go have a beer and relax. What more do you need.

Went here for lunch.

Atmosphere- Looks like what I would think a German beer hall would look like. Pretty cool with communal seating(long tables where multiple people sit) and an outdoor seating area.

Food- Reasonably priced. I had the reuben and the wife had the burger. Both were good.

Service- Waitress was great and she was walking around in a dirndle which makes me happy all the time. Come on, hot chicks in a dirndl just works.

Quality- The beer was great. Hofbrau is a quality german lager. Lagers are underappreciated in my opinion and this one is great!

Overall- A MUST visit!

I have been there several times since it opened and I have a hard time going back. I do because my friends make me.

The beer gives great headaches and it is not that great. I do not think it is the Hofbrau beer in general because I drink Hofbrau Miabock out of the bottle all the time and it is great, but the keg stuff is not. And the food is terrible. One time I couldn't even finish a brat sandwich and it doesn't take a genius to make bratwurst. Trust me, I do ok brats and I'm no rocket surgeon. There is good people watching, though.

I can find places to go in Panama City Beach with better beer and way better food.

That is just me.

-Bye

What a wonderful place to get a beer and stare at wench cleavage. Seriously, every single girl working at this place is hot and buxom. I don't care if I sound sexist because like the prophetic words from Spinal Tap, "what's wrong with sexy?"

Anyway, the beer is of course good to okay. Who really cares once you've drunk 2 or 3 liters of dunkel?

This place really tries though. The food is quite good considering the restaurant borders a mall and they even have free beer on Friday nights starting at 5, or maybe 6... fuck it, call ahead.

Check it out when you are at PC Beach. It's good stuff!
