This is a small place next to Nattys in Greensboro. The atmosphere is not bad, there is a big window in the front so everybody can see you. The Beers are not very imaginative and the server we had must have been new because he didn't know much about anything. He was attentive though. The selection though small is almost diverse, and after all it is Greensboro! the food was good, I had a great burger. The value was good, and i think their specials are well spread out.
If you are downtown, you should check this spot out.

I was in Greensboro for the Eagles concert so I figured Id stop by Nattys, however the wait was 45mins and my lady was getting hangry(hunger induced anger) so we went next door to Grays for some food and beer.

A: It had an okay atmosphere we appeared to be the youngest there by about a decade. There were a few TVs scattered around the place, but none were in clear view of our table.

Q: Not super nice but comfortable place, could have used better tvs as well as more complete menus.

S: Shitty service, waitress had an attitude and instead of telling me what they had on draft or the specials she pointed at a small chalk board across the bar. Our food took forever to come out, and she was very inattentive. There appeared to be only two waitresses working which is ridiculous for 6pm on a saturday night. The people beside us finally had to go to the bar to pay their bill after trying to flag the waitress down for 10 mins. She was also condescending when I asked for a glass of water to go along with my beer. She made us feel rushed the whole time

S: The draft list was ok I couldn't see everything and their were no prices listed I went with a hoppium(3.75). My girl had a blue moon(3.00).

F: the food was decent and reasonable in price nothing unique, but solid bar food non the less. My sandwich was supposed to have cheese, but I didn't feel like waiting for another 30 mins so I just ate it as is.

I wouldn't come back here. The (lack of) service really pissed me off, and the inefficient display of a draft list and prices was annoying. I wanted to pay with card, but she took so long to come back after dropping off the bill that I just left cash and walked out.

A walk down the street from Nattys I checked it ou as I was strolling down around. I really did not get the impression this was much of a beer destination, rather it seemed to come across as more of a friendly neighborhood bar that had a few taps on. Everyone inside seemed to be local an the direction of the place was definitlely geared toward spirits rather then beer. Still it was a nice little place and if Nattys was not right there I might have stayed for a drink. Not a bad walk through a Sat night I would imagine

A relativley new place new to downtown right next door to Natty Greene's.A relativley spacious place with alot of seating up front with the large rap around bar in the back, the menu is all sanwiches and appetizers and everything we have had from there has been very good with the Buffalo Chicken sandwich really standing out (I lived in Buffalo for two years and this was as close to Buffalo taste as I have found around here)the spicey hushpuppies being likely my least favorite.Ten taps with Foothills Hoppyum and Total Eclipse standing out the most and a reasonable bottle selection make this another beer friendly place downtown and the food is much better then Natty Greene's in my mind. When in downtown Greensboro hit this place up.
