One of a couple beer friendly places to open while on my two year stint away from Greensboro,a place I get to pretty often.Located in my favorie area of Greensboro the Lindley Park area on Walker and Elam streets, the neighbor hood with its bars and cafes has a real cool vibe to it.The place is pretty small it used to be a gas station back in the day so its not a large bar and restaurant, most of the inside is taken up by a large bar there are a few tables maybe 5 or 6 with alot more seating outside to the right of the building. There are 8 taps with usually a couple Natty Greene's and a Foothills Tap along with Carolina Brewing Ground Hog Imperial Stout, they have a nice micro bottle selection with quite a few Bell's offerings in the cooler. The food is excellent probably the best burger you can get in town, they have alot of good sandwiches and apps that are given the names of local streets in the area. The service can be downright aweful if you are not sitting at the bar if your at the bar its adequate.A cool place you might have to deal with bad service but everything else about the place is great.

Great bar/restaurant in the Lindley Park section of Greensboro. Pretty decent menu of gastropub offerings, and everything is local and fresh. Lots of different options, from sandwiches to wraps to salads, and some pretty funky appetizers. We pigged out here. Really good food. The taplist is pretty decent. There were 8 taps going, as well as a pretty solid bottle list. This place is a bit of a tight squeeze, with a short L-shaped bar, some high top tables around it, and some regular tables in a side room. There is patio seating when the weather permits. This is a place we are planning to return soon.

Stopped in here for a bite after I picked up my reserved Event Horizon next door at Bestway. The place is much smaller on the inside than I expected. There are some tables along the window sides, but they are packed tightly around the bar. The place was fairly full around lunchtime, so I grabbed one of the few open spots at the bar. They only have 6 taps that I could see. Nothing really that one wouldn't find at other places around town. Their bottled selection is a bit better. They have maybe 25-30 different craft bottles. Decent selection from some great breweries such as Bell's, Ballast Point, Terrapin, etc. The menu was pretty extensive for a corner bar. I got one of their "local" wraps, which was fantastic, but the side of potato salad was bland and flavorless. The prices were decent and the service was quick. I might come back here when I'm in the area, but with Sticks n Stones across the street, it would be unlikely.
