Dewey's pizza is a great chain pizza place without the chain feel. Any of their locations are good, and this new one in Crestview shopping center is no exception. The atmosphere is kind of hip and trendy, but it's also a family place too, with many small children hanging around the giant windows into the kitchen so they can watch the cooks fling dough into the air with great precision. Forget about that though, we're here for beer! They have eight taps with a wide range of craft/micro beers, and you can get a few BMC things in bottles. Their beers always seem to be fresh, and everything on tap is served in a standard pint glass. Here's the beers I can remember them having: Guinness, Ommegang Hennepin, Bluegrass Brewing English IPA, Rogue Mocha Porter, Bells Amber, Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold, Christian Moerlein OTR, and Mt. Carmel Blonde Ale (the last two beers are local Cincinnati brews). Now that we have good beer, we need good food to go along with it, and Dewey's doesn't let you down. Their pizzas are outstanding, and their crust is probably the best pizza crust I've ever tasted. I highly recommend either the Southwest BBQ Chicken pizza or the Green Lantern. Their salads are fantastic as well, I really love their Caesar and house salads. The service at Dewey's is great too. It might take a while to get a table at peak hours, but once seated, there's an abundance of servers to take care of you. You don't really have just one server, everyone waits on every table pretty much. If any server walks by and sees that you need a refill, they take care of it. This is really a fine establishment, and you can't go wrong with anything off the taps or on the menu. With several locations around the Cincinnati area, you're always close to good beer too. Prost!
