Bottled at 4.1% ABV: on cask it's only 3.7% ABV.

Cask pint in La Cracke, Liverpool on 7th Feb 2014.

Dry golden ale with a white foaming head. How can anything from Manchester be dry: a fine oxymoron if ever I've heard one. Anyway this is a pleasant enough blend of hops and malts with the hops just about winning the flavour stakes in both the nose and taste.

Easy session beer with enough about it to have another and another: I couldn't as I was on a mission to drink different beers that particular evening. (513 characters)

A slightly hazy amber body with spritely white head

That brewers mash aroma that smells like stinky armpits

Quite a bitter edged beer, slight citrus tart and quickly becoming yeasty and intense
definitely hop forward
(Did you know that Manchester has a Statue of Abe Lincoln as a public memorial?)

Easy drinking good carbonation

Actually quite good stuff (359 characters)
