500 ml can, from a wine store in Leyton, London. ABV is 6%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of malt sugar, candy and floral and grassy hops. Medium sweet flavour with some alcohol, but also some bittering hops. No complexity, forgettable.

The usual Perla is a great value refreshing dry hoppy pilsner, usually unpasteurized Polish beers are a big improvement on their mass produced ones! And it seems to be pretty much the same price...

Standard lagerish colour, pretty good foamy head.

Aroma is very pilsner like, hoppy and carbon dioxide, with some sweet malt. Definitely refreshing!

Tastes a bit like Krolewskie which I had a few days ago. Sweet malt kind of like Amstel but with much more going on in the mouth, lots of tastes hapenning, which is common with unpasteurized beers. Needs a bit more hops to balance the sweetness!

Pretty good though needs more hops. I agree with a previous reviewer that in many ways the standard one is better, it's somehow more crisp and balanced

Honey colour. Darker than a typical lager. Very light carbonation.

The aroma is very sweet and grainy.

The taste is sweet with suggestions of corn and honey. It is a malty beer with not much hop presence.

The mouthfeel is light.

I really like the pasteurised version of this (Perla Chmielowa pils). At least, I assume this is that beer without the pasteurisation. Somehow I enjoyed this one less as it seemed to taste more cheap and average macro lager like than normal Perla. Maybe I will try this one again but it seemed worse than the standard Perla 6% beer so my mark out of one hundred would be 73.

500ml can (nice golden design with some old boys from the brewery featured) poured into two half-pint tankards on Christmas Eve 2013 (my son had the other half-pint).

Typical golden lager looks, with the usual white head that refuses to stay.

The nose is both grainy and semi-sweet malty wise: gets my regular 3 for a lager/pilsner aroma.

Crisp, refreshing and thirst quenching but without too much flavour or character: doesn't seem to be a 6% ABV brew, hides that well, even if it fails to inspire in the flavour stakes.

Mr Bog Standard European Lager/Pilsner, with just a little extra something to make it more than OK!

This was translated as "unpasturized", which I'm not sure of that itmeans from a brewing perspective, perhaps unfiltered? At Szara in Krakow. Clear gold, small white collar, spritzy.
Metallic twang on the nose and tongue, iron. Grassy hops, modest bitterness. Lightly sweet pils malt. Burpy, dry. One is enough, glad enough to have tried though.
