Stopped by Toronado on a Monday evening in hopes of catching this place when it's not quite so busy. Well, it was still packed but pretty manageable. It's a pretty small place but there is also a patio out back which does help a little. Location seems to be just far enough off the beaten path that the off street parking is not a huge problem. The overall vibe of the place is pretty laid back and friendly. I can see stopping by to socialize and have a great beer. The bartenders were nice and come across as knowing at least a little about the brews they were serving. The food that I saw floating around looked good though my party didn't want to bother waiting for a table to try it out. The selection here is fantastic. There are 40 + taps that included: Allagash, Russian River, Sierra Nevada, Port, Green Flash, and many others. Bottle selection was also impressive with offerings from Lost Abbey, Boulevard, Meantime, Fullers, Nogne O, J. W. Lees, Hair of the Dog. Notice some of the bottles are vintages which is a plus in my book. This is a highly recommended place for anyone traveling through the San Diego area.
