A- amber colored with a white head
S - you can smell the hops and corriander
T - good hop/malt balance, the thing I enjoyed was the flavor of the corriander. I was not expecting to find this a pleasurable flavor in beer but it goes well with the hoppiness.
M - good carbonation, nice and crisp.
D - It surprised me how much I enjoyed this beer. It was very refreshing after a day at the beach.

A- Very nice appearance here, lives up to its name as it is definitely copper-colored with a decent, frothy head. Leaves a decent lace.
S- Pretty good here too. Definitely getting a whiff of coriander along with some toasty malt and grassy, citrusy hops.
T- Coriander is quite evident and blends in with the hops to create a nice citrusy flavor. Malt is nice and toasty, with a spicy rye taste lingering on the finish. Quite tasty.
M- Nice medium body, but nothing stands out in this respect.
D- Good drinkability, I could have another. ABV is rather high if I remember correctly, somewhere in the 6% range. This, along with its rather complex flavors prevents it from being a quaffer.
Very interesting beer indeed. Not really one that I'd drink on a regular basis, but still very enjoyable for a change of pace. Definitely give it a try if you are ever in the Outer Banks.

Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a hazy dark copper color and a nice head that leaves sheets of lace
Smell: Fruity, peach nectar aroma with a whiff of coriander
Taste: Various fruit flavors up front (peach and apricot in addition to the expected citrus) followed by a herbal coriander spiked bitterness - as they advertise, this beer is spicy and bitter
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and moderately carbonated
Drinkability: An intriguing and original combination of styles (APA and Saison, perhaps); according to the bartender, this was the first beer the brewpub brewed when it opened five years ago; I hope it is in the regular rotation as it is superb
