Had this one on tap while in the OBX on vacation. Pours a goldenrod color with a foamy, pillowy white head. The smell is fresh, lively citrus hops and a hint of sweet malt. The taste duplicates the smell and is so sweet and hoppy at the same time. Perfect balance with a creamy, smooth mouthfeel that is also crisp and refreshing at the same time. The drinkability of this is amazing. The perfect session ale for a hot day at the beach. If you come across this one on tap 2 growlers is the minimum if staying the week in the OBX!

This beer came out a light goldish orange with a thin off-white head on top. Little lacing sticks to the glass. Smells of spicy hops and toasted bread. There's a light roasted quality to this one that is interesting. The mouth is crisp and yet smooth. Carbonation level is medium. This is rather spicy for an APA. The hops come out pretty bold in this one, but the finish is sort of burnt and acrid. This is an interesting take on the style, but it was one and done for me.

On a recent trip to the Outer Banks, I stumbled accross this beautiful beer, definitely my favorite out of the 15-20 I tried in the Banks.

She pours a nice clear golden color with a good hearty white head.

The smell and taste are completely dominated by some incredibly fresh hop scents and flavors. There is some heavy grapefruit with a minimal pine backing that really brings this "i"pa into excellent territory.

The mouthfeel and drinkability are both impressive enough to make this a beer that I will certainly search out the next time I make the trip up to the banks. Excellent.
