stopped in over the weekend while i was in nags head, nc for a wedding. building is pretty unique looking from the outside with a large wind turbine seen behind. the inside has spacious ceilings that gives a church-like atmosphere. washed up bricks are embedded into the floor.
service was good. prompt and as attentive as i need it to be. i ordered a sampler consisting of Olsch, Conquest IPA, Abracadabra Brown, and Dog House Tripel. all were pretty good w/ the IPA and the Tripel being the standouts. as for food, sampled the bottlecap jalapeno poppers and the portobella press. the bottlecaps were okay, but a little cold. the press was very good and a nice change from typical brewpub/bar food.
overall, average prices and tasty brews/food make this a good place to stop by if you are in the area. it is also worth noting that there was a sizable stage and lighting and i heard they have a decent amount of live music.

The most surprising was that for their stronger beers they gave you a smaller glass "because they pack a kick". Nice selection with a range of beers, the ones I tried were very good. Despite the small glasses with a normal price I like the place. Nice place overall.

Visited to refill our growler that we got several years ago - last time thru they weren't open on the days we were near Kill Devil Hills - now they are open 7 days. very quiet today, did the sampler and enjoyed everything except the "olsh". We were able to fill the growler with their special saison, but a quite a cost $28.00 vs. $16.00 for a normal refill. This place is just OK for me - always looks like it could be a little cleaner, but bartender was pleasant and helpful, beers were pretty good, food looks pretty standard. I'm sure we would stop by if we are nearby again, but it wouldn't be a first stop. We enjoyed a place called "Trios" which I will add if it isn't already on the site.
