Taco Mac is cool! They have a HUGE selection of taps (literally an entire wall) and the food is good too. I have been to Taco Mac (Cumming & Alpharetta) to watch a game or just grab a brew. Taco Mac offers a wide variety of food for a bar but, the wings are by far the best. Their TMI wing sauce is killer as well. They had around 120 taps and so much more in bottles. A great place to stop in if you're looking for beer that isn't BMC. It is close to Atlanta so they usually have any Sweetwater or Terrapin seasonals on tap as well. I had a variety their and none of it was skunky, so no worries there.

This is a typical large scale sports bar, which I'm certainly not opposed to. Not much out of the ordinary... wings, macro beers, large screen tvs, large bar, booths, tables, video games, etc, but it does have a much larger than normal selection of beer. The beer menu has a pretty extensive tap list, both good and crappy beers alike. The quality of the food is decent at best. My food was good, my wife's not so much. I've been here a few times and that always seems to be the case. The menu items are hit or miss, but again I stress this is a sports bar. Just know that going there and you get what you expect. Service has been good every time I go. Our servers are always nice and suprisingly knowledgeable about the beers on tap. I say suprisingly because most of the time when a sports bar tries to do craft beer, the staff doesn't seem to know the product. That's not the case here.

Overall, this place is decent and is a good option to get a beer fix when your in Cumming, GA. If it weren't for the beer list, though, there are much better places to eat in the area.

Visiting my brother in law Steven for the weekend he took us to this place. Wow! You walk in and there are a wall of taps. 100 drafts and 279 bottles. The only problem with that is that 85% of those are ones that you can get virtually anywhere. I stuck to the micro locals (and a Victory Premium Pils) for my tastings.

Atmoshphere. A sports bar for sure. Lots of flat screen and young people. It is comfortable though and good.

Quality. Above average, especially for the beer that they serve.

Service. Not good. Our waitress was about 19 years old (she said she was old enough to serve but not old enough to drink) and she brought Steven a Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat instead of the Lagunitas Censored that he ordered. Making it worse, she denied that it was the wrong beer three times. After I got a sample size of Censored from the bar and showed her that it was the wrong beer she "consulted" with the bar keep and then admitted that they had a miscommunication and that "he must have thought that I said "Sunset" instead of "censored." Despite all of that she refused to give us a refund on the beer that we did not order. "I cannot take it off of your bill." I was not impressed.

Selection. 100 draft and 279 bottles, they are best with local craft stuff (Terrapin, Sweetwater).

Food. This is their best attribute. I had Cuban sandwich, wife had a chicken wrap of some kind and Steven got a philly sandwich. We started with some nachos. Everyone liked what they had. I saw some guy who ordered a salad and that looked very good indeed. Way above average food for what you can expect.

Value. Our 6 beers, nachos and three sandwiches were $50. Not bad.

Notes: A great "starter" place for a BA but you will quickly become bored of their selection (particularly the taps) since most of those are macro re treads. I enjoyed it.

A: It is better than a lot of the other Taco Macs in terms of layout. The majority of the tables have a bit more privacy. With that said, it still has that sports bar type feel.

Q: It is one of the newer layout Taco Macs with a private dining room and good natural light. The restaurant seems cleaner than some in the chain as well.

S: Both times I have been to the store, the wait staff has been terrific. One even suggested a beer that was not the beer of the month. The manager, Derek (sp?) seems to know more about beer than most of the people I have ever met at Taco Mac. He seemed to genuinely care about my thoughts on the beer menu, and also informed me he was pushing for a beer dinner at that location. I asked and received a room temp glass instead of a frozen one.

Sel: The tap list is probably the best I have seen at any of the 100 tap locations. The following beers are just the ones on tap at my last visit that have a rating > 3.7 on this website. Of all the Taco Mac locations, I think this one is second only to Metropolis in terms of selection. I have little doubt if they had another 40 taps that they would not be equally impressive.

St Bernardus Prior Abt 12, Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen, Dogfish Head 90 Min IPA, Allagash Tripel Reserve, Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, Sierra Nevada Celebration, Victory Hop Devil Ale, Paulaner Hefeweissen, Sierra Nevada Torpedo Ale, Oskar Blues Old Chub, Dogfish Head 60 Min IPA, Fuller's ESB, He'brew R.I.P.A, Sweetwater IPA, Victory Prima Pils, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Ommegang Rare Vos, Flying Dog Double Dog, Avery Collaboration not Litigation, Lindeman's Framboise, Terrapin India Brown Ale, Oskar Blues Dale's Pale Ale, Terrapin Rye Pale Ale, Victory Sunrise Wheat, Breckenridge 471 IPA, Avery New World Porter, Allagash Dubbel Reserve, Rogue Dead Guy Ale, Paulaner Octoberfest, Avery IPA, Spaten Optimator, Lagunitas Censored, Samuel Adams Lager, Duck-Rabbit Porter, Duck-Rabbit Brown Ale, Anchor Steam , Brooklyn Lager, Spaten Franz Dunkel Hefeweissen, Left Hand Milk Stout, Victory Golden Monkey Tripel, Rogue Juniper Ale, and Gaffel Kolsch

F: The food is the same as it is at all the other Taco Macs. It is slightly better than most pub type menus.
