Standard sized bottle, brought back from the States.
It poured dark brown, with an inch of tan foam.
The smell is peanut butter, and some sweet chocolate. I was skeptical, but is really does smell nice.
The taste has more chocolate roasted malts. A bit nutty, and more on the sweet side. Peanut butter is not nearly pronounced in the flavor as the aroma.
The body is medium, moderate carbonation, dry finish.
Better than expected, was assuming it would be overly sweet or artificial, but this one actually worked nicely.

This beer is amazing. Aroma is pure peanut butter madness. Sure it's slightly artificial but so is peanut butter. This beer is one of my favorites and on par with the best specialty beer I have ever found. I bought all I can get my hands on. Awesome beer. Don't be a beer snob.

Immediately after cracking the bottle open the aromas of chocolatey peanut butter smash against your nasal cavity!

Draft poured into shaker pint

A: black small creamy looking head slightly off white

S: smells like peanut butter cup very nutty

T: peanut butter cup a little roast coffee taste bitter on the end

M: medium bodied for a porter lingers on the tongue with that bitterish aftertaste

O: it's ok I do not care for the bitterish aftertaste but it's pleasant up front with peanut butter cup there are better peanut butter porters/stouts out there

Picked up this up at liquor world in Fayetteville, AR...

Pours an effervescent mahogany with 3+ fingers of tan head. Very good lacing & head retention

S: Huge peanut butter nose, some iron

T: Some peanut butter, a bit of roastyness, ever so faint cocoa notes up front. Faint woody hops, more peanut butter, perhaps a bit of coffee, carob & dryness as this warms. Finishes peanut buttery, a little mocha & some iron

MF: Light/medium bodied, over-carbonated, weakest link in this beer. Gets thicker as it warms

This could've been truly great if the malt bill was stepped up, seems a little thin. Wanted more coffee. Fairly drinkable, I will this again in sixer format if I see it. Not a lot of beers of this flavor in this neck of the woods; really delivers on the peanut butter

If you enjoy the added artificial flavors that are added to this porter, then go ahead. I prefer natural flavors with a bit more subtlety. Four-pack is too expensive for this flavor-added product.

Appearance: black, ruby edges, dark beige foamy cap, stringy lace.

Aroma: peanut butter, cocoa powder, roast, faint coffee.

Taste: dry cocoa, peanut butter, bitterness, roasted malts.

Mouthfeel: quite dry, medium body, hint of creaminess.

Overall: there's some high points, definitely the aroma, and the flavors are all there, but it just comes off as artificial. It's a bit harsh with the bitterness, detracting from the sweetness a bit. Does the trick though, but it's not stellar. Worth a try.
