It has the spices and fruit of a witbier, relatively thin in flavor and body though. Passable.

This wit is the appropriate pale gold, very lightly hazed but not nearly as much as it could be. I can pretty much see through it, but it's got enough of a hazy thickness not to have any give at the edges. A small white head forms and fades somewhat quickly, leaving a bit of a thinnish, wispy foam that actually leaves some decent lacing behind.
I get coriander and grains on the nose with a bit of mostly citric sweetness. Otherwise, it's quite nondescript.
A little spiciness comes out in the flavor before tangy red grape and fruits into the finish, where some grains come out. This may have more Fruity Pebbles taste than Leinie's Sunset Wheat. There's nothing particularly Belgian detectable other than a note of the distinctive dusty earthiness.
There's actually a bit of a surprise in the feel, as it starts out quite creamy and fuller-bodied than I would have thought. Crispness kicks it up a notch as it goes and edges out the smoothness, then it fades off and gets watery but, hey, it had something there for a minute.

Pours a slightly hazy lemony straw color with a solid half inch had that lingers.

Aroma is wheaty, with a belgian yeast character, lemon, and coriander. There's substantial graininess and a honey sweet finish.

Flavor is led by orange and lemon, followed by peach and wheat. There's a light graininess, which carries into the finish. Belgian yeast and coriander add intrigue in the aftertaste.

Body is moderate, with fairly high carbonation.

Overall, a fairly straightforward beer that delivers on its description. Would've fared better if the belgian character were more pronounced.

Reviewed on July 4, 2012. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a standard pint glass. No date or abv listed on the bottle or label.
Poured a cloudy/hazy light yellow with a thin wheat head the dissipated rather quickly leaving very little lacing. Smells like that belgian yeast and hints of coriander. Taste like your typical Belgian witbier, funky; orange peel; spices. Great clean, dry finish quite refreshing in this summer heat wave! Overall, not a bad beer, much better than the Hopped Up 'N Horny Pale Ale that I had.
