Pours a copper color with a decent head that fades to bits of lacing. Mild aroma of pine, floral, some malt sweetness and grain. Taste follows with mild citrus, malt sweetness and bit of grain. Mild crispness and a clean finish. Fairly moderate body, some crispness but no expected hop bite as with most IPAs. Decent drinkable beer, that leans more towards being a Pale Ale than an IPA.

This beer looks so novelty it's killing me, you know when you look at a new beer and it looks so bad that you know not to buy it. But there's that sick part of your brain that wants you to try it it. Pours a brilliant orange tinted copper color with a slightly off white head billows thick and forms nice scattered lacing as it dwindles. Aroma hints of caramel and stale hops slightly herbal/citric/and dank weed with a mix of stinky feet. Flavor is horrible, cardboard grainy water with bitter hop pellets blending through each sip finishes with a bit too much garlic. Mouthfeel has medium to light body with moderately heavy carbonation flowing through. Overall if you like hops and you like good beer, you want enjoy this novelty offering.

I must admit that I'm pretty new to craft beers and as such, my tastes need to mature a little bit. Pale ales are still pretty strong to me.
That being said, this beer is pretty good. It has a good classic ale flavor I wouldn't mind trying again.

Thinned orange beer that is leaning towards the color of polished terra-cotta pots. The head is tan, slightly sticky and has decent retention.
The scent is of crunchy, grainy malts and isn't in my top 10 but isn't the worst either. It smells slightly harsh and gritty with hints of bittering hops in disappointing amounts.
Taste is weak and not at all where it should be. The beer tastes like a processed, push button brew full of cut corners and cheap ingredients. Gritty grain flavors that border the sweet malt range but never really makes it there. The hops are present in feel (almost) but are nonexistent in the taste. Ooof that's a crappy beer.
The mouthefeel is slightly better because of bittering hops but the flavor is so poor that the whole package ends up being abrasive rather then delicious. Hopped up n horny is a weak beer that could use a lot of help in the flavor department. Pass this one by unless the only other option is bud light.

The look isn't bad: a tight, very nearly white head rises to about a finger in height and recedes to a sturdy foam over an almost completely clear dark gold-amber brew, showing some stick and leaving a mix of spotting and patching as it goes.
I get some really bready malts on the nose, breads being the main aspect before some leafy hops kick in. A touch of a floral element and just a hint of caramel sweetness are in here as well. It's not as though anything's really difficult to pick up, though it's not stellar. There's not a whole lot of power or complexity, but I'd call it average.
The taste isn't an improvement; in fact, it gets a little weird. Celery is the first flavor that I get. There's a sort of watery element, such that I'd even have trouble describing it, as though "watery" itself is a flavor in this beer. Hops come in at the middle but are more pithy than anything, getting a little bracing in the finish, and somehow the malts aren't here to add any balance. I don't know what could have happened between the aroma and the flavor to get this.
The mouthfeel's not heinously light, though it is light. Crispness is consistent though gets a bit fizzy. It remains active the whole way, never going flat or watery, though it's nothing great.

Appearance: Good gradient of colors here. Ranges from dark orange to light golden yellow. Thick carbonation. Lacing and foam are only average.
Smell: Good peppery smell. Gives this pale ale a nice bite to it. Some spiced apple as well. Very mild and subtle.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Only a slight bit of hops that fizzles out pretty quickly, making this pretty watery. I do detect some nice notes of sour banana though.
Drinkability: A relative lack of excitement leaves more to desire. A good thirst quencher though.
Overall: A refreshing beer that comes across clean and more like a light lager. Kind of reminds me of Sam Adams Light with less punch in the flavor.
