Pours a copper color with a decent head that fades to bits of lacing. Mild aroma of pine, floral, some malt sweetness and grain. Taste follows with mild citrus, malt sweetness and bit of grain. Mild crispness and a clean finish. Fairly moderate body, some crispness but no expected hop bite as with most IPAs. Decent drinkable beer, that leans more towards being a Pale Ale than an IPA.

A: somewhat hazy; copper colored; 1 finger off white head that reduced to a film; some lacing;

S: grass and malt; not a lot of anything;

T: grapefruit rind up front that turned to caramel malt and pine in the mid-palate; low to moderated bitterness with a little grapefruit on the finish;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation;

O: nothing about this beer is exciting; it's OK, but barely; many better options are available;

A – Hazy amber tint leaning towards orange. Very tight thick head full of small bubbles dissipating over time. Defined lacing.

S – Hoppy citrus notes average in strength.

T – Citrus flavors are mild, not a very prominent hop distinction with an overwhelming bitter finish on top of alcohol.

M – More full mouth feel than would be expected from an IPA. A smooth drinker none-the-less.

O – A mediocre beer I don’t see myself purchasing frequently. The most impressive aspect was the head and lacing of the Spiegelau IPA glass I was using, I haven’t seen an IPA out lace it yet. That being said the taste seems to be a cornucopia of flavors that don’t intertwine well. A beer worth trying on a hot summer day.
