12oz bottled 7-22-21. Opened 8-1-21.
2 finger off-white head, dense and with a fine bead. Excellent retention.
Golden with some haze initially. Thick, sticky lacing.
Grapefruit, orange peel, and floral/green hop aromas, with a bready malt undertone. Classic.
Citrus peel, pithy bitterness with red grapefruit/black pepper and floral flavors over a light creamy malt base.
Medium body and carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel.
Hefty punch of bitterness in a medium length and ultimately dry finish.
Very Good.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a slightly hazed golden color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving to give a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather strong of a citrus hop smell of grapefruit and some citrus sweet smells of tangerine and orange. Along with these smells comes a little bit of a pine and grassy hop smell mixed with a touch of tropical fruits.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and citrus forward taste with the citrus being a blend of grapefruit hop and some orange sweetness. The citrus is sorta light upfront and remains so throughout the taste, but is soon joined by other flavors of a nice pine and herbal hop. These hop tastes overtake the citrus flavors and with a little bit of a more cracker like malt, one is left with a lightly dank and crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is lighter and crisp with a carbonation level that is rather normal. A little higher carbonation may have been slightly better for the moderate tastes of the brew mixed with the lighter dank hop, but overall the feel made for an easy sipper overall.
Overall – A rather decent, not too citrusy, pale ale with an easy drinking taste and feel.

On-draught @ 512.

A lacklustre pale ale with an uninspired hop profile. Tastes like an English pale that was meant for cask serving.

Generic floral flavour. 2-row malt base. As forgettable as they come.

Drinkable but wanting. I'd definitely never buy a sixer.

poured from 32 oz. half growler into tulip (half growler filled Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at Harvey Washbangers in Hurricane Harvey-induced downpour)

L: murky gold, about as dark as gold can get without adding amber, like a dull light bronze; pushes up late-percolating creamy head of foam about 3/4 to a full inch tall; keeps thick collar and most of a skin; light sticking, no lacing

S: hoppy ... green hops, grassy, a little lime ... citrus note is strong, grapefruit ... yes, as it warms, more and more grapefruit; biscuit malt under the thick layer of hops, very subtle

T: mix of grapefruit, generic citrus hop flavor with a more pronounced biscuit malt flavor, almost bready malt; hops are juicy and only lightly bitter and are really smoothed out by that malt sweetness; bitterness shows up in aftertaste, lingering grapefruit peel, almost earthy

F: ale soft, almost slick, feels a bit light but there's enough carbonation to add a piece of heft to it; not sure if it lost a lot of carbonation overnight in the half growler, but ... well ... how shall we say? it's definitely an ale, not a lager (as it should be, no?)

O: lovely little hoppy beer, slightly soft mouthfeel but I could see some finding its velvety smoothness perfect; the grapefruit notes are spot on, and the light malt backbone is just enough to add a little sweetness
