From a 750ml bottle. Cloudy orange color with a half inch of white head. Strong floral and citrus hop smell on opening. Medium body. Bready malt flavors up front with some floral and citrus hop flavors and a bitter tea-like finish. A balanced DIPA that's as much about malt as hop flavors.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy orange-amber color with a one finger head of puffy orange tinted foam. The head has a good level of retention, with it slowly fading over time to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a dank aroma with lots of vegetal and herbal smells. Along with these smells comes some light aromas of pine and a bit of a bready and doughy smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a heavy bready malt taste that is paired with a whole lot of herbal and pine hop right from the start. At the start there is also a touch of caramel and some light citrus fruit (orange/tangerine) that add a touch of sweetness. As the taste advances, the beginning taste remain very strong and are joined by a bit of a vegetal hop taste as well as some flavors of earth. The hops really take a hold of the flavor, with the vegetal and herbal taking the reins, leaving one in the end, with a dank and nicely hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is average. The thick and chewy body is great for the dank hops, making for good appreciation of the big dank hop taste.
Overall – I rather liked this brew. Not the standard west coast or NEIPA. Thick, chewy, dank, and non citrus or tropical laden. Quite enjoyable!!!

Light golden bronze in color. Thick off-white to khaki head after easy pour. Classic pine aroma at first hit followed by a bready sweetness and some floral notes. Aroma is actually a little muted after the initial wave. Taste is classic old school DIPA which I really appreciate. Nice sweetness to balance an aggressive but not over the top bitterness. Raw hoppiness lingers in the finish for a very pleasing overall impression. Would definitely recommend!

Small growler of what looks like 32 oz., gifted by my wife. Slightly hazy golden body as poured from this take-out bottle into a pint. The head is nice and soapy in appearance, the lacing too.
Actually tasty stuff. Hadn’t tried it before.
It is malty, nicely balanced, and has a stinging characteristic that can be described as medicinal, but it’s flavorful to sip, just a well-made DIPA. When it seems it may end too dry, it doesn’t quite get that far. But it is a dry bite of a finish. The malt backbone does this one well. There’s that malty tea flavor I’ve come to like in DIPA malts, albeit an herbal tea in that sense. Normally not a spec I’d care for, but this works for me.

At the Whip In. Like it's single brother, strong malt backbone, nicely hopped, flavorful, maybe even a little spicy, a little boozy. Like you're aunt you see at holidays, who used to be a looker and a little wild, but has mellowed in her age and can still pull a surprise or two out of her hat.

On tap at bar on the drag.
A: burnt orange (fitting) nice 3 finger head dissipates rather quickly with lots of lacing on the glass.
S: very citrusy hints of orange and grapefruit.
T: danky, hoppy, cheesy intense up front after taste is more smooth and mellow no tastes of booze good for a brew of this high gravity.
M: Feels light and refreshing a little surprisingly drinkable.
O: good DIPA on all accounts maybe not a session beer but definitely worth a try
